KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Architectural Design & Leadership
- Lead the design of enterprise-grade Red Hat-based solutions
- Work with technologies such as OpenShift, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and Ansible
- Ensure alignment with business and technical requirements
2. Technical Advisory & Pre-Sales
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients and internal teams
- Conduct technical presentations, workshops, and proof-of-concepts
3. Solution Strategy & Rationalization
- Contribute to product and technology strategy
- Identify key Red Hat solutions and develop architectural blueprints
4. Technical Expertise
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends
- Design and manage scalable and secure cloud solutions
- Key responsibilities include:
- Designing hybrid, on-prem, and cloud-based solutions
- Ensuring security and compliance
- Maintaining solution documentation
- Supporting cost and pricing modeling (CAPEX/OPEX)
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with sales, delivery, and support teams
6. Market & Technology Research
- Monitor industry trends and emerging Red Hat technologies
7. Documentation
- Develop architecture designs and best practice guides
8. Mentorship
- Provide guidance to junior architects and engineers
9. Process Improvement
- Identify and implement efficiency improvements
10. Talent Development
- Support hiring and team capability development
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
Experience & Certifications
- Minimum of 5 years experience in IT architecture, with at least 3 years in Red Hat technologies
- Required: Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification
- Experience in multi-cloud and hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Hands-on experience with:
- Containerization (Docker, Podman)
- Orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift)
- Automation tools (Ansible, Terraform)
- CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with enterprise networking, storage, and security
