DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design, recommend, and implement enterprise network solutions including LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi, and VPN, applying best practices for segmentation, routing, redundancy, load balancing, failover, and Quality of Service (QoS) to ensure high availability and performance.
• Monitor, analyze, and optimize network performance using tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, and Wireshark; conduct regular health checks, bandwidth analysis, and performance reporting to proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks.
• Implement and maintain network security controls including firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC, VPNs, encryption standards, and certificate management, ensuring compliance with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.
• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support by troubleshooting complex network incidents involving connectivity, latency, and configuration issues, ensuring incident resolution within SLA timelines and coordinating with vendors such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Aruba, and Nutanix as needed.
• Perform infrastructure maintenance and upgrades including firmware and software updates, hardware lifecycle management, capacity planning, documentation of network diagrams and configurations, and development of SOPs and troubleshooting guides to support operational continuity and scalability.
